Authentic Civil War Infantry Bugle: Im proud to offer you exclusively this typical civil war bugle, which was made in slight variations by different makers like Horstmann, Draper, Klemm & bros. etc. As period photografs show, these bugles were although issued to artillery and cavalry units. This bugle ist copied from an unmarked original in a private collection. It features excellent workmanship, brass fittings on a copper body. The bugle is pitched in C with a Bb pigtail crook. Even the mouthpiece is made after an original. The soldering seam is butt soldered, the bell is attached with a circular seam.
This is a real functionable, playable musical instrument not the cheap decoration stuff the normal sutler sells besides they are selling the incorrect M1855 British duty bugle.
